General Information We are located in Northwest Ohio, with professional relationships spanning several states. We are working to better the breed with high standards and a commitment to excellence in all we do. All our dogs are AKC Registered, and certified healthy by our veterinarian, before release to their new home. We Care! In addition to the close attention we give our newborns, we carefully monitor the health and condition of our females after each litter is delivered. As responsible breeders, we allow sufficient time for all our mamas to recover from "giving their all" to one litter, before re-breeding for the next litter. We are vigilant in our breeding practices, to ensure the health and well-being of both our mamas and their babies. As a result, litters are generally small, with 2-4 pups each, to safeguard the mothers while producing quality puppies. Occasionally, there are puppies we know will make ideal pets, but should never be used for future breeding stock. We will truthfully represent these dogs, to ensure a healthy, happy life for them, and to fully disclose the limits of expectations to the new owners. To further protect these animals, and the integrity of the breed, we will exercise our right as breeders to impose a Limited Registration. Microchip ID's Some states are working to mandate different forms of animal identification, such as tattooing or micro-chipping, as they are far superior to state and local data registries. We choose to use microchip tracking for all of our personal pets, as well as for the puppies we sell to you. In a simple procedure, a veterinarian embeds a tiny ID chip under the skin, which can be scanned to reveal owner information. With over 20 million pets lost each year, we feel this system offers the best chance to ensure your pet's safe return home.. To learn more about the microchip process, we invite you to click on the links we've provided, or contact your own veterinarian for more detailed information. Microchip numbers issued to our puppies will be given to the new owner, at the time of pickup, when the account has been paid in full. If you do not desire the microchip, please let us know when you place the deposit on your puppy.
